Little Black Book has grown through two residencies, an industry reading, a community campaign and a workshop premiere at 651 ARTS. The next step is a full production, and Najee is looking for the people who will help build it.
Partner on the next production as a producer, co-producer or commissioning organization.
Present it
Bring Little Black Book to your theater, festival, campus or community space.
Give
Gifts from individuals, foundations and companies help pay the artists, rehearsal time and production costs.
Open a door
Introduce Najee to a producer, funder, presenter or partner who should know this play.
What support makes possible
New pages, readings and a full production
Fair pay for the Black and queer artists and crew who make the play
Talkbacks and community conversations that travel with the work
Already behind it
In 2024, 129 people gave over $12,000 to the Little Black Book Fellowship, past its $10,000 goal. The play was developed at SPACE on Ryder Farm and Hi-ARTS and premiered as a workshop production at 651 ARTS in December 2025.
